Exciting things are happening, but each potential success carries with it the need for great patience, not a natural gift of mine (or anyone I know, for that matter.)
My first work of Contemporary Women’s Fiction is in the hands of a wonderful agent. Time to get serious about Novel #2 while I wait for good news. (wishful thinking!)
Along with two other accomplished Christian women, I am ghost-writing a nonfiction book on Christian coaching. I am truly excited and honored to be part of the team.
Lynne Marie Davis and I are author/illustrator of “Your Home in Heaven,” a children’s picture book that was published shortly after the tragedy of 9/11. While it’s been awhile since its initial publication, it seems to be enjoying new life as people discover the blessing and message of the fruit of the Spirit woven into the story of a child’s imaginary home in heaven. We feel so blessed.
John Wesley’s biography on http://www.inspirationalchristians.org has been accepted for publication as an e-book, as my biography of Billy Graham was. I have to admit I really enjoy researching the lives of Christian leaders in order to write brief stories of them for the web site. Maybe some day I’ll be asked to write a full length book on a famous Christian leader!
Copyediting/Copywriting – I’m enjoying editing others’ work and the potential of copywriting for a web site designer I’ve been referred to. As long as God opens the door, I’m planning to walk through.
Miscellaneous Writing Projects – Essays, poetry, picture books… All things short and sweet are great projects to work on in between longer manuscripts.
