On February 21, 2018 the world lost a voice for God and a man who truly had a heart to know Christ. Billy Graham died of undisclosed causes at his home in Montreat, North Carolina, USA. He was 99 years old. Hoping to see the Lord coming on the clouds one day, Reverend Graham spent more than 60 years preaching the gospel to people around the world.
Tomorrow, Friday, 3/2/2018, a private funeral service will be held at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Caroline where approximately 2,300 invited guests, including President Donald Trump, are expected to pay final respects to a man who changed the face of evangelism. He will be buried beside his late wife, Ruth, whose grave is at the foot of the cross-shaped brick walkway in the Library’s Prayer Garden.
The funeral will be live-streamed beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET with the actual funeral service scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon ET. Mr. Graham’s oldest son, Franklin, will provide the funeral message. What a gift Billy Graham was to the world. May we always remember his message of love and grace and the countless times he proclaimed, “The Bible says…” at Crusades around the world, speaking with authority and confidence in his calling and in God.
